Our Mission
A brotherhood built on service
BLASÉ is a social club of Brooklyn Technical High School Class of 1985 graduates focused on philanthropy, community events, fundraisers, special events, and personal development. What began as friendship in the hallways of Tech has become a lasting commitment to the neighborhoods that raised us.
Our Roots
From the blocks around Tech
We grew up in the neighborhoods surrounding Brooklyn Tech — including the Fort Greene and Marcy housing projects and Bed-Stuy — and went on to build careers across education, engineering, law enforcement, transportation, information systems, and publishing.
Over the decades we have leaned on each other through hard times, and we have seen first-hand what a strong personal and professional network can do for a man's life. That is the inheritance we intend to pass on.
